RHS Practice Groups
Group 1: Monday and Wednesday 6:00-7:30
G1 Elite: Friday 9:00-11:15 AM
Group 2: Monday, Wednesday, 5:15-7:30, and Friday 9:00-11:15 AM
NPHS Practice Groups
Group 1 Monday and Tuesday 6:00-7:30 CDT
Group 2 Monday and Tuesday 5:15-7:30 CDT
Practice notes: NO practice on Tuesday RHS due to a high school meet. NO practice at NPHS on Wednesday due to their Thanksgiving Break. No practice at either site on Thursday due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. ALL NP swimmers are welcome to attend any practice at Riley that works into their schedule including Friday for Group 2 swimmers. All swimmers attending Group 2's Friday practice are reminded to bring appropriate dry-land clothes including running shoes.
Communication
If you are ever in need to speak to a coach please let the coach know in advance and please plan to meet after practice. Time before and during practice needs to be devoted to our swimmers. They deserve our full attention and anything outside of an emergency should wait until the swimmers are off the pool deck.
If you need to contact me there are several ways to do so. If you need to let me know your swimmer is ill or anything else that does not require more then a few word response a text message works well. Any other type of communication should be done through email. I am in front of a computer multiple times a day and it is the easiest way for me to respond quickly to your concerns. Voice-mail and Facebook (or other social media) messages are the least effective way to get in touch with me. My time is limited during the day when I can return calls. All social media sites are blocked on the school computers and I would not be able to respond in a timely manner.
SWAC Fall Invite
I will post the results and update all the pertinent pages as soon as the results file is sent out. You can follow our swimmers competing today on the the Meet Mobile App. Type SWAC in the search box that should locate the meet. If it doesn't the official meet name is listed as 2016 IN SWAC Fall in the Pool Prelims/Finals.
IA Meet
If anyone has noticed a mistake in their swimmers entry. Specifically, your swimmer is not entered in enough events please let me know as soon as you can.
Advertising Credit
Selling a one year ad on our website could earn you anywhere from $50 to almost $500. Here is the link for more information.
Another easy way to earn credit for your swim club account is to hang our recruiting posters out in the public. For every poster you hang you will receive a $5 credit up to $25. Once you hang the poster post a pic of it on your Facebook page (or other social site) and tag the club. For every poster after the 5th one you will have your name entered in a drawing for a Visa gift card to be held on December 1st .
Upcoming Meet & Dates/location/deadline to opt out
As a reminder all swimmers are considered swimming in a meet unless the parent declines attending. I'm also asking if you know your swimmer will be attending please commit them to the meet. If the option to choose days is not yet available please leave a note as to which days you would like to attend.
