End of Season Team Pool Party
We will be having an end of the year pool party at my home on Saturday August 8th from 1:00-5:00.  The club will provide hot dogs, drinks, and all the eating utensils.  If you are planning on attending please bring your favorite side dish to pass.

2015-2016 Registration
Our on-line registration platform will be operational no later then Sunday August 9th.  Here are some changes we will have in place for next season

1. Registration will now be for an entire year for both short course and long course seasons (1st announced 7-5)
2. All swimmers will be considered swimming in a meet unless a parent chooses to opt out of the meet by using our "attend/decline" function of our website (1st announced 7-12)
3. Volunteer requirement.  It has not been determined exactly how this will look or be implemented but all families of our club will be required to volunteer a certain number of sessions of the events we are involved in. (1st announced 7-19)

In previous years we have limited the month of March to swimmers who have qualified for championship meets. This season we will be allowing all of our swimmers to continue swimming through March.  In years past we have not charged any families for the month of March but this will also be changing for our Group 1 and Group 2 swimmers.  Group 3 swimmers who have paid for September and October will not be charged for March

As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me

Autumn Baumgartner in the 11-12 girls 50 back (33.87), 100 back (1:11.89), 100 free (1:03.15), and the 200 free (2:17.87)

Also I would like to congratulate Lauren Meyer who also set a new team record in the 50 back with a time of 33.88. But, it was broken by Autumn in the very next heat by .01.  Lauren held the record for about 45 seconds.  This in itself is certainly a team record!

Here are the results for our swimmers and the new all-time top ten list

One day left and we are having a great state championship.  I will post the results as soon as they become available

Age Group State Meet

I have attached our entry.  Please look over the entry and let me know if you have any concerns.  I am able to make one final update but I will need to know by tonight by 6:00 PM.

Here is some information I received from Tony Young of Indiana Swimming about parking for this weekend
  • Three-Day Permit Holders:  The permits are good on any floor in the center section of the Natatorium Sports Garage (Please use the entrance labeled Visitors; it is the second entrance.)  Simply swipe the permit upon each entry. Be sure to display your permit on your rear-view mirror at all times while in the garage.
  • Permit Sales on Friday Morning at the Meet:  Indiana Swimming will be selling a limited number of remaining 3-day permits on Fridayonly at the Indiana Swimming table on the upper concourse of the Natatorium.  Price is $20; cash only with correct change.  The permit sale hours on Fridaymorning will be from 6:00 AM - 9:00 AM and from 11:00 AM - Noon.  Anyone planning to purchase a permit at the meet will need to first park on floors 5 or 6 of the Riverwalk Garage (attached to the south side of the Nat Garage).  Simply pull a ticket upon entry; your permit can then be used as payment to swipe out of the garage when you leave. Please remember to park on floors 5 or 6.  If you park on any other floor, you will be subject to a $50 University ticket.
  • Pay-on-Entry: For spectators without permits, the pay-on-entry process will be activated for this event in the center section of the Natatorium Sports Garage.  The cost is $6 credit card only for each entry.
  • Indy Eleven Game on Saturday:  Spectators who do not have a permit will be charged $10 to enter the Natatorium Sports Garage after 3:30 PM on Saturdayafternoon.

Our on-line registration platform will be operational no later then Sunday August 9th.  Here are some changes we will have in place for next season

New for this week will be the a volunteer requirement.  Over the last few seasons we have added home meets to our schedule, Fitter and Faster clinics, to go along with our intra-squad meet and our many social functions.  We have also been asked to consider hosting a future Divisional Championship meet at Riley and if Senior State returns to South Bend we have been asked to assist the host teams.  All of these events are important for our clubs continued growth. These events also need parent volunteers to make them successful. It has not been determined how this will exactly look but each family will be required to help a certain number of sessions.
