RHS Practice Groups

Group 1 Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-7:30

G1 Elite Monday 5:00-7:00

Group 2 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 5:00-7:00, and Friday 5:00-6:30
Group 3 AM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:30-9:15

NPHS Practice Groups

Group 1 Pool closed for the season-COME TO RHS

Group 2&3 Pool closed for the season-COME TO RHS

Practice Notes: Group 2 practices for the last two weeks of the season will at 7:00 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  Friday will still end at 6:30. Group 2 swimmers attending practice on Friday are reminded to bring dryland clothes including running shoes.  Due to the pool closing, NP swimmers should attend their group's corresponding practice at Riley.

Age Group State Championships July 27th-29th IUPUI

The meet letter and our entry are attached.  Please double check for any errors.  Our entry can be updated through Monday evening.  Any changes need to be communicated with me prior to practice tomorrow at 5:00 PM. Coach Ted will be the coach on deck.  Please call or text him at 574-360-9187.

Here are the pertinent times for this weekend's meet.

Pre-lims 11-14 year olds Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Warm-ups 6:30-7:45-our swimmers need to be on deck by 6:30

Meet Starts at 8:00

Prelims for 10 and unders Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Warm-ups 1:15-1:45-our swimmers need to be on deck by 1:00

Meet starts 2:00

Finals for 11-14 year olds Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Warm-ups 4:00-4:45-our swimmers need to be on deck by 4:00

Meet Starts 5:00

 

Age Group State and Divisionals

I have sent out preliminary entries for both of these meets.  We are able to make changes to both these entries through 7-23 (tomorrow!) for AGS and 7-30 for Divisionals.  Please check your swimmers entry and let me know if you notice any errors.  Specifically, if your swimmer is entered in the correct age group for their events at Divisionals.

Email Change

Starting this fall the weekly emails will be sent through the administrative dashboard of our website. Please make sure your email address is up to date on your swim club account page.

Summer Entrance Into The Building

For building security purposes we are asking all swimmers and parents to enter and exit the building through door #22.  This door is on the northwest corner of the building and faces Fellows Street.  There is a stairwell at this entrance that leads directly to our seating area.  That door will be the one we open for parents who choose to stay and watch practice. Please do not use, or prop open, the double blue doors at the east end of the seating gallery. Swimmers will be directed to leave the building through door #22, parents please plan to pick up you swimmers at that end of the building

Last Day of the Summer Season/Start of the Fall Season

Here are the last days for each of our groups

Group 1 and G1 Elite Thursday August 2nd

Group 2 Friday August 3rd

Group 3 Friday August 3rd--We may offer shorter AM practices for this group the week of 8/5-8/11.  I will keep everyone posted.

NP Groups: July 19th-NP swimmers should attend practices at RHS until the end of the season.

No one will be charged any training fees for the month of August.

Our first practice in the fall will be the Tuesday after Labor Day, September 4th.  All swimmers wanting to be part of our program this fall will need to register through our on-line platform.  I plan to have that up and running no later than August 6th.

Advertising Credit 

A Group 2 or Group 3 annual membership plus all the other associated fees with our membership -- spirit wear, meet surcharges, technology fees, concession stand/hospitality fees, USA Swimming-- is just under $550 for an entire year. (A Group 1 annual membership is about $100 less.)  If you were able to sell two of the Premiere+ adds it could easily pay for a whole year of swimming including meet entry fees!

Selling a one year ad to one company could earn you anywhere from $50 to almost $500. Here is the link for more information. 

Another easy way to earn credit for your swim club account is to hang our recruiting posters out in the public. For every poster you hang you will receive a $5 credit up to $25. Once you hang the poster post a pic of it on your Facebook page (or other social site) and tag the club.

Below is our spring/summer meet schedule.  Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. If you are only given the option of "yes" or "no" when committing please leave a message in the available notes section of what days you would like to attend.
