RHS Practice Groups

Group 1 Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-7:30

G1 Elite Monday 5:00-7:30

Group 2 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 5:00-7:30 and Friday 5:00-6:30
Group 3 AM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 6:30-9:15

Group 3 PM  Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 5:00-6:30

NPHS Practice Groups

Group 1 Tuesday and Thursday 5:00-6:30 CST

Group 2&3 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4:00-6:30 CST

Practice Notes: There is no PM practice for any group at RHS on Wednesday. Group 3 will not have PM practice on Friday, but Group 2 will.  Group 3 swimmers wanting to attend practice on Friday PM are welcome to attend the Group 2 practice. As always, NP swimmers are allowed to attend any of their group's corresponding practice at Riley.

Friday Distance Session 1500 Freestyle

Warm-ups 12:30-1:10 CST- our swimmers should be on deck by 12:15 CST

Meet begins 1:15 CST

Friday PM Session Events #1-#16

Warm-ups 3:15-4:05 CST-our swimmers should be on deck by 3:00 CST

Meet begins 4:15 CST

Saturday and Sunday AM

Warm-ups 7:00-7:50 CST-our swimmers should be on deck by 6:45 CST

Meet begins 8:00 CST

Saturday and Sunday PM

Warm-ups 12:00-12:50 CST-our swimmers should be on deck by 11:45 CST

NASA Summer Invite Northridge High School Saturday June 23rd

Coach Carol will be the coach on deck for this meet.  If you are running late or unable to make it for any reason call or text Coach Carol at 574-292-0553.  Here are the pertinent times for this Saturday's meet:

AM Session

Warm-ups 7:00-7:45-our swimmers should be on deck by 6:45

Meet begins 8:00

PM Session

Warm-ups 12:00-12:50-our swimmers should be on deck by 11:45

Meet begins 1:00

Group 2 Swimmers Attending AM Practices

Group 2 swimmers are allowed to attend AM workouts based on their age.  11 year olds once a week, 12 year olds twice, 13-3 times, and 14-4 times per week.  Group 2 swimmers will need to be above 75% attendance of their practices to attend AM workouts and have at least one Divisional cut in their age group.  If a swimmer does not meet those requirements they may still be granted permission to attend.  AM practices begin with 30-40 minutes in the weight room.  Our philosophy is this type of training is not appropriate for younger swimmers.  Swimmers 11-13 year attending morning practice should be on the pool deck at 7:00 and begin their dynamic stretching routine.  Group swimmers 2 attending AM workouts will also be charged an additional $15 each month they attend workouts.

Summer Hour and Entrance Into The Building

For building security purposes we are asking all swimmers and parents to enter and exit the building through door #22.  This door is on the northwest corner of the building and faces Fellows Street.  There is a stairwell at this entrance that leads directly to our seating area.  That door will be the one we open for parents who choose to stay and watch practice. Please do not use, or prop open, the double blue doors at the east end of the seating gallery. Swimmers will be directed to leave the building through door #22, parents please plan to pick up you swimmers at that end of the building

Our entry has been sent.  Important meet information will be included in a future weekly email.

New Prairie Pool Updates

NPHS will have building shutdowns this summer due to  electrical (intermittent power) and plumbing work.  The building will be closed the week of June 25-29th and July 2nd-6th. NP swimmers always have the option of attending practices at RHS.

Advertising Credit 

A Group 2 or Group 3 annual membership plus all the other associated fees with our membership -- spirit wear, meet surcharges, technology fees, concession stand/hospitality fees, USA Swimming-- is just under $550 for an entire year. (A Group 1 annual membership is about $100 less.)  If you were able to sell two of the the Premiere+ adds it could easily pay for a whole year of swimming including meet entry fees!

Selling a one year ad to one company could earn you anywhere from $50 to almost $500. Here is the link for more information. 

Another easy way to earn credit for your swim club account is to hang our recruiting posters out in the public. For every poster you hang you will receive a $5 credit up to $25. Once you hang the poster post a pic of it on your Facebook page (or other social site) and tag the club.

Below is our spring/summer meet schedule.  Swimmers wanting to compete will need to commit to those meets. If you are only given the option of "yes" or "no" when committing please leave a message in the available notes section of what days you would like to attend.
