Practice Schedule
RHS Practice Groups
Group 1: Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-7:30 PM
G1 Elite: Monday 5:00-7:00 PM
Group 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 5:00-7:00 PM
Group 3: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 3:30-5:30 and, Thursday 3:30-5:00 PM
NPHS Practice Groups
Group 1 Monday and Thursday 6:00-7:30 PM CST
Group 2 Next practice tentatively scheduled for Monday April 10th
Practice notes: No practice on Friday
for Group 3 due to the Senior State meet. The last practices for G1
Elite, Group 1, and Group 2 are this week. Group 3 will continue to
practice until the 29th. All Group 2 swimmers are welcome to attend the
Group 3 workouts starting next week.
Senior State Championships Pike High School 3/17-19
Our entry has been sent but we can still make changes through tomorrow night. If you notice any errors please let me know immediately. Here are the pertinent times for this weekend's meet.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Pre-lims
Warm-ups 8:00-9:15 (our swimmers need to be on deck by 8:15)
Meet Starts 9:30
Friday and Saturday Finals
Warm-ups 3:30-4:45 (our swimmers need to be be on deck by 4:00)
Meet Starts 5:00
Sunday Finals
Warm-ups 3:00-4:15 (our swimmers need to be on deck by 3:30)
Meet Starts 4:30
If we have swimmers who qualify for finals every swimmer attending the meet will be expected to attend the Friday and Saturday finals. Regardless if they have qualified or not.
Age Group State We
have a small number of athletes competing this weekend and they are
doing an outstanding job. After two days, with only 7 swimmers, we are
currently in 24th place. You can follow our swimmers today on the Meet Mobile app or watch for updates on our social media platforms.
Speedo Sectionals
This
meet was not put on our schedule this year due to dates of the meet
falling on the first weekend of our spring break. I wrongly assumed
there would not be any interest in this meet. We have had a few
swimmers express an interest in attending so the meet is back on our
schedule. If your swimmer has met the qualifying times and would like
to attend this meet please let me know no later then this evening, Sunday March 12th.
Spring Registration
Our
spring and summer registration is now open. I am asking for everyone's
help in spreading the word. There is a link on our Facebook page and
if everyone could share this post it would significantly increase our
visibility.
Our first practices will be on Monday April 10th. The
registration is only for new swimmers or former
SBSC swimmers not currently registered for the fall/winter season. All
current swimmers will be moved over to our spring roster and their
billing status will remain the same. (Annual payers-no change,
monthly payers-will continue to be billed monthly, seasonal
payers-billed April 1st for the spring/summer season). If you do not plan to swim with club this spring or summer please email me prior to March 26th to avoid being charged for the April billing cycle.
Advertising Credit
Selling a one year ad on our website could earn you anywhere from $50 to almost $500. Here is the link for more information.
Another easy way to earn credit for your swim club account is to hang our recruiting posters out in the public. For every
poster you hang you will receive a $5 credit up to $25. Once you hang
the poster post a pic of it on your Facebook page (or other social site)
and tag the club.
Upcoming Meet & Dates/location/deadline to opt out
As
a reminder all swimmers are considered swimming in a meet unless the
parent declines attending. I'm also asking if you know your swimmer will
be attending please commit them to the meet. If the option to choose
days is not yet available please leave a note as to which days you would
like to attend.
