Practice Notes: There will not be practice Thursday
at Riley due to a high school meet. Please, prior to leaving for
practice check your email, our website, or any of our social sites for
weather related cancellations. Also, please remember if either NPUSC or
SBCSC cancels school for the day we must also cancel our club
practices. Swimmers attending Friday
practice are reminded to bring dry-land clothes including running
shoes. New Prairie swimmers are welcome to attend their corresponding
group's practice at Riley. New Prairie swimmers and parents are asked to
enter NPHS through door S6.
NCISC Meet

CON Last Chance Meet Feb. 22nd-24th Concord High School
I have attached our entry with updated times after yesterday's
meet. Parents of our younger swimmers please make sure you are writing
your swimmers event numbers and events on their arms/hands. It really
does make a difference for our coaches at the meet. I realize this is a
week early, but here are the pertinent times.
Friday events #1-#12:
Doors open 3:30
Warm-ups 4:00-5:00 (our swimmers need to be on deck by 3:45)
Meet Starts 5:10
Saturday and Sunday AM Sessions: 9-12 year old swimmers
Doors open 7:00
Warm-ups 7:30-8:15 (our swimmers need to be on deck by 7:45)
Meet Starts 8:30
Saturday and Sunday PM sessions: 8 & under and 13 & over swimmers
Warm-ups 13 and over 12:30-1:15 (our swimmers need to be on deck by 12:15)
Warm-ups 8 and under 1:15-1:35 (our swimmers need to be on deck by 1:00)
All swimmers need to be signed in by 1:00
Meet starts 1:45
Divisional Championships Northridge High School March 1st-3rd
The deadline for committing to this meet is one week from today, Sunday February 17th.
I realize this is a week prior to the CON Last Chance meet. But, if
your swimmer qualifies for Divisionals at this meet we are still allowed
to add them to our entry. Please remember this is a meet that requires
time standards.
The last scheduled practice for each of our Groups will be Thursday March 21st.
If we have athletes who are choosing to attend Speedo Sectionals we
will of course offer practices for those swimmers. After the 21st all
swimmers will be moved to the long course season (spring/summer) for
billing purposes. If you are not planning on swimming the spring/summer
season please let me know prior to March 15th.
Our first practice for the spring/summer season will be the week of April 7th-13th, the week following spring break.
Advertising Credit
A
Group 2 or Group 3 annual membership plus all the other associated fees
with our membership -- spirit wear, meet surcharges, technology fees,
concession stand/hospitality fees, USA Swimming-- is approximately $550
for an entire year. (A Group 1 annual membership is about $100 less.)
If you were able to sell two of the Premiere+ adds it could easily pay for a whole year of swimming including meet entry fees!
Selling a one year ad to one company could earn you anywhere from $50 to almost $500. Here is the link for more information.
Another
easy way to earn credit for your swim club account is to hang our
recruiting posters out in the public. For every poster you hang you will
receive a $5 credit up to $25. Once you hang the poster post a pic of
it on your Facebook page (or other social site) and tag the club.

is our fall/winter meet schedule. Swimmers wanting to compete will
need to commit to those meets. The deadlines are based on deadlines
that were set last year. They may change once the meet hosts posts the
meet information. When committing to multiple day meets please leave a
message in the available notes section of what days you would like to
attend. Meets marked with an * are meets that require swimmers to meet
certain time standards. All pool locations can be found on our website
under the "Pools" tab
