Practice notes: No practice at Riley on Tuesday due to a high school meet. Swimmers attending practice on Friday
are reminded to bring dryland clothes including running shoes. NP
swimmers are welcome to attend any of their corresponding group's
practices at RHS.
Last Day of the Winter Season/First Day of Spring-Summer Season
Our last practice for all groups will be March 22nd.
(NP Group 2 see next heading below) All swimmers will be moved to the
long course season (spring/summer) billing groups at the end of March.
If you are not planning on being part of the club during April please
let me know sometime prior to March 15th and I will put your swimmer on the inactive roster. Our first practices for the spring/summer season will be the week of April 8th-14th, the week we return from spring break.
NP Group 2
Due to the middle school season starting at New Prairie our last Group 2 practice at that site will be Thursday February 1st.
All swimmers in this group will not be billed for February and March.
They are still eligible to compete for us in meets and they can qualify
for Divisionals and Age Group State with times done in middle school
meets.
NCISC Championship Meet Saturday February 10th
This
is the last meet we will host this season. We will need everyone who
is available to help that day to volunteer. The job section of the meet
is now open. Please pick any job. I also wanted to remind people of
the $10 concession stand/hospitality room fee you will see on your
account. This fee will be assessed to all of our members including our
high school swimmers. The deadline to commit your swimmer is next Sunday January 28th
CON IMX Meet
We are off to a good start. Three sessions down with two left today. I will update all the pertinent pages as soon as I receive the results file.
Advertising Credit
We
have had 3 new advertisers to our website this season. These
advertisers were sold ad space by two of our families. It has generated
a total $725.85 of credit on their swim club accounts! We will give 50% of whatever money raised right back to to you!! The best sales commission ever?!
A
Group 2 or Group 3 annual membership plus all the other associated fees
with our membership -- spirit wear, meet surcharges, technology fees,
concession stand/hospitality fees, USA Swimming-- is just under $550 for
an entire year. (A Group 1 annual membership is about $100 less.) If
you were able to sell two of the the Premiere+ adds it could easily pay
for a whole year of swimming including meet entry fees!
Selling a one year ad to one company could earn you anywhere from $50 to almost $500. Here is the link for more information.
Another
easy way to earn credit for your swim club account is to hang our
recruiting posters out in the public. For every poster you hang you will
receive a $5 credit up to $25. Once you hang the poster post a pic of
it on your Facebook page (or other social site) and tag the club.
